Regular Season Round 8: ALBA Berlin II - Stahnsdorf 52-85

Very expected game in Berlin where 15th ranked ALBA-2 (1-8) was crushed by third ranked RSV Eintracht (7-1) 85-52 on Saturday. RSV Eintracht dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to ALBA-2's 18. RSV Eintracht forced 26 ALBA-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by ALBA-2's players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Sebastian Fuelle (193-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Karolis Babkauskas (185-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 19 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. American-Bosnian Abdulah Kameric (190-0) responded with 11 points and Erik Penteker (183-2) scored 13 points. ALBA-2's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. RSV Eintracht have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in North, which they share with Goetting.ASC. ALBA-2 lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with eight games lost. RSV Eintracht will face league's leader Wolmirstedt at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ALBA-2 will play against Vechta-2 (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
