Regular Season Round 4: Final Spor - Manisa 86-85

The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Manisa (3-1) in Bursa on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by fourteenth ranked Final Spor (1-3) 86-85. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Manisa. Final Spor made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Forward Lennard Freeman (203-95, college: NC State) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Center Devin Searcy (208-89, college: Dayton) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and guard Derrick Marks (190-93, college: Boise St.) added 20 points and 6 assists in the effort for Manisa. Four Manisa players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Final Spor left bottom position moving up to tenth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Manisa at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. They share it with Duzce Bld. and Selcuklu. Final Spor's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bursa to the arena Bursaspor.
