Regular Season Round 2: Kibirkstis - Aistes-LSMU 58-47

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Aistes-LSU (2-1) in Vilnius on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Kibirkstis (4-0) 58-47. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Aistes-LSU. Kibirkstis forced 20 Aistes-LSU turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Morgan Pullins (183-93, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. The former international forward Gabija Meskonyte (181-98) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. International guard Kriste Druskyte (180-92) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Gabija Segzdaite (184-0) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kibirkstis maintains first position with 4-0 record. Aistes-LSU at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost. Kibirkstis will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aistes-LSU will play on the road against Vilkmerge in Ukmerge and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
