No shocking result in a game when SBK Lviv (2-2) beat Vinnystkiye M. (1-4) in Vinnytsia 78-69 on Saturday. Vinnystkiye M. trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 23-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-78 at the end of the game. It was a good game for the former international swingman Krystyna Matsko (182-91) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Olga Krasnikova (182-84) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five SBK Lviv players scored in double figures. Center Oksana Stepaniuk (195-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and Iryna Zhmurko (185-96) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Vinnystkiye M.SBK Lviv will face Kyiv Basket at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vinnystkiye M. will play against BK Rivne (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
