Regular Season Round 7: Elchingen - Fraport SKY II 80-72

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Fraport Skyliners II (6-1) on the court of fourth ranked Elchingen on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Elchingen 80-72. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Fraport Skyliners II. They outrebounded Fraport Skyliners II 38-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Fraport Skyliners II's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Elchingen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in South, which they share with Schwenningen. Fraport Skyliners II at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Elchingen is looking forward to face Giessen 46ers II (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fraport Skyliners II will play against the league's leader Bayer Giants (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
