Regular Season Round 7: Kirchheim - Hanau 87-73

Rather expected game when 15th ranked White Wings (1-6) were defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Kirchheim Knights (3-3) 87-73 on Saturday. Kirchheim Knights outrebounded White Wings 38-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 72.7 percentage. Kirchheim Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Rohndell Goodwin (195-91, college: Chaminade) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import point guard Dajuan Graf (185-92, college: N.C.Central) helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. At the losing side point guard Till-Joscha Joenke (193-92) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and American Luquon Choice (190-93, college: Lincoln Memorial) scored 21 points. Kirchheim Knights moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Heidelberg and Schalke. White Wings lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Kirchheim Knights will meet higher ranked Baunach (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. White Wings will play against Rostock (#4) and hope to win that game.
