An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of SBK Lviv in a game versus BK Rivne (#8) 72-57. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 21-5 charge, which allowed them to win the game. BK Rivne dominated on the defensive end, holding SBK Lviv to just 5 points in fourth quarter. It was an exceptional evening for guard Viktoriya Shmatova (170-87) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international swingman Krystyna Matsko (182-91) came up with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Olga Krasnikova (182-84) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for SBK Lviv in the defeat. BK Rivne will meet Vinnystkiye M. (#8) in the next round. SBK Lviv will play against Kyiv Basket (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
