The game in Targu Secuiesc supposed to be also quite interesting. 4th ranked Oradea (2-3) played at the court of sixth ranked Targu Secuiesc (2-3). Targu Secuiesc smashed Oradea 82-57 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Targu Secuiesc. Oradea was better in fourth quarter 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Oradea 39-21 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Kayla Mobley (180-90, college: Clayton St.) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Iringo Debreczi (183-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. Four Targu Secuiesc players scored in double figures. American forward Tierney Pfirman (188-94, college: Maryland) produced 10 points and 8 rebounds and center Anisia Croitoru (182-3) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Targu Secuiesc moved-up to fourth place in Nationala. Targu Secuiesc will face Alexandria (#7) at home in the next round. Oradea will play against Agronomia in Bucurest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
