Very expected game when 6th ranked Akademie (2-4) lost to leader Junior Loewen (6-0) in Breitenguessbach 67-82 on Sunday. Estonian Henri Drell (205-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points. Nicholas Tischler (198-0) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Julius Boehmer (188-2) answered with 14 points and 6 assists and Michael Javernik (203-1) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Akademie. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Junior Loewen. They maintain first place in Group 3 with 6-0 record. Loser Akademie dropped to the seventh position with four games lost.
