A very interesting game took place in Jaszberenyi. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 11th ranked JP-Auto JKSE (2-3) to fifth ranked Kormend (4-2) 90-88 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Kormend made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard T.J. Price (193-93, college: W.Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 4 assists. The other American import Leyton Hammonds (203-94, college: Oklahoma St., agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian power forward Nemanja Aleksandrov (210-87) added 22 points in the effort for JP-Auto JKSE. Five Kormend and four JP-Auto JKSE players scored in double figures. Kormend have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with ZTE KK and Alba. JP-Auto JKSE lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with three games lost. Kormend's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked TF Budapest (#14) at home which should be an easy win for them. JP-Auto JKSE will play against KTE-Duna and hope to win that game.
