The game in Klaipeda was also quite interesting. 4th placed Mazeikiu SM (3-2) played at the court of fifth ranked V.Knasiaus KM (4-1). V.Knasiaus KM managed to secure a 5-point victory 71-66 on Tuesday. Mazeikiu SM was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 17-9 charge of V.Knasiaus KM, which allowed them to win the game. Oskaras Pleikys (-1) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Arminas Bergaudas (193-1) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four V.Knasiaus KM players scored in double figures. Guard Jokubas Rubinas (191-2) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Edgaras Preibys (203-2) added 20 points in the effort for Mazeikiu SM. Mazeikiu SM's coach Vidmantas Bertys tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the third consecutive win for V.Knasiaus KM. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Mazeikiu SM dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. V.Knasiaus KM will face Silutes SM (#7) on the road in the next round. Mazeikiu SM will play against the league's second-placed Siauliu and hope to win that game.
