Regular Season Round 4: SISU - Vaerlose 83-47

Date: November 7, 2018
Fifth ranked SISU (2-2) crushed at home 7th ranked Vaerlose (1-3) by 36 points 83-47, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. SISU shot 22 for 32 from the free-throw line, while Vaerlose only scored four points from the stripe. SISU forced 25 Vaerlose turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Vaerlose helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for Canadian guard Nofuente Ceejay (173-93, college: Humber) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. American forward Aubrey Buckley (188-95, college: Missouri St.) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four SISU players scored in double figures. Guard Maria Hoegh (178-98) replied with 8 points and 9 rebounds and forward Emilie Janner (175-99) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Vaerlose. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SISU moved-up to third place, which they share with Aabyhoj and Herlev. Vaerlose lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with three games lost. SISU's next round opponent will be Stevnsgade (#7) on the road. Vaerlose will play against the league's leader Horsholm and hope to win that game.
