The most interesting game of round 4 was a home defeat of 6th ranked Lemvig (1-3) to fifth ranked Aabyhoj (2-2) 83-75. The guests trailed by 11 points after three quarters before their 25-6 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Aabyhoj dominated on the defensive end, holding Lemvig to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Lemvig's 24. Aabyhoj forced 22 Lemvig turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Ida Krogh (181-91, college: Nova SE) who helped to win the game recording 23 points (made all of her seven free throws) and forward Caroline Wich (185-96, college: Portland St.) who added 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Aabyhoj's coach Michael Niebling used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Canadian-German swingman Lindsay Panchan-Fug (177-92) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and Bulgarian forward Mariya-Magdalena Kolyandrova (166-97) scored 21 points. Five Aabyhoj and four Lemvig players scored in double figures. Aabyhoj moved-up to third place, which they share with SISU and Herlev. Lemvig at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Vaerlose and Stevnsgade. Aabyhoj is looking forward to face Herlev (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lemvig will play against the league's second-placed Amager and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
