No shocking result in a game when second ranked Sirius TgM (4-2) beat bottom-ranked Alexandria (0-5) in Targu Mures 59-46 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 19-4 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Sirius TgM dominated on the defensive end, holding Alexandria to just 4 points in third quarter and to 13 points in second half. Sirius TgM forced 23 Alexandria turnovers. Sirius TgM will face Rapid Bucuresti (#5) at home in the next round. Alexandria will play against Agronomia and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
