We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 4th placed Aci Koleji (5-2) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Elazig (5-2) 70-64. They made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Asli Sevinc (178-79, agency: FlyBasketball) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Nihan Demirkol (172-92, agency: FlyBasketball) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American-Azerbaijani center Marcedes-Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh, agency: 1andBox Sports Agency) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and the former international Busra Akgun (183-93) added 19 points in the effort for Aci Koleji. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Elazig. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Istanbulgucu and Aci Koleji. Elazig's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Bayrakli and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aci Koleji will play against Edremit in Balikesir and hope to win that game.
