Very expected game when 12th ranked ChemCats Chemnitz (1-7) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Hannover (4-4) 68-52. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Haiden Palmer (173-91, college: Gonzaga) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Belarusian guard Alexandra Tarasava (172-88) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. Hannover's coach Rodger Battersby allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Czech point guard Andrea Andelova (172-94) came up with 10 points and American guard Ana Owens (168-96, college: Cincinnati) added 12 points respectively for ChemCats Chemnitz in the defeat. Hannover moved-up to sixth place. ChemCats Chemnitz lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. They share it with Braunschweig. Hannover will play against league's second-placed Herner TC at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ChemCats Chemnitz will play against Fireballs (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
