Regular Season Round 6: Portoroz - Plama Pur 70-77

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Plama Pur (2-3) beat on the road 8th ranked Portoroz (2-4) 77-70. The guests were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 23-19 Portoroz's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 77-70 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was power forward Robi Hrescak (201-92) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Grega Sajevic (189-96) chipped in 23 points. Four Plama Pur players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Timoty Cole (205-93) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and guard Enej Miklavcic (186-98) added 22 points respectively. Plama Pur moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Parklji. Portoroz at the other side dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Plama Pur's next round opponent will be higher ranked LTH Castings (#6) in Skofja Loka and it may be quite challenging game. Portoroz will play on the road against the league's leader Sezana (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
