Regular Season Round 7: TF Budapest - Kormend 60-123

Bottom-ranked TF Budapest (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 123-60 loss to third ranked Kormend (5-2) in Kormend. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to TF Budapest's 32 and made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded TF Budapest 36-22 including 25 on the offensive glass. Kormend shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Desonta Bradford (193-96, college: E.Tenn.St.) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Five Kormend players scored in double figures. Kormend's coach Antonis Konstantinides felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Danish-Ivorian center Jonas Bergstedt (210-91) answered with 28 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Logan McLane (206-95, college: Miami, OH) added 5 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for TF Budapest. Kormend have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 5-2 record behind leader PVSK-Veolia. Newly promoted TF Budapest still closes the standings with seven games lost. Kormend will play against Szedeak (#12) in Szeged in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TF Budapest will play at home against KTE-Duna and hopes to get finally their first victory.
