Regular Season Round 5: Bursaspor - Final Spor 85-79

TBL top team - Bursaspor (5-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Final Spor (1-4) 85-79. Bursaspor made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Recep Dogrusoz (192-86) stepped up and scored 22 points for the winners and Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89, agency: BeoExcell) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. Bursaspor's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor) responded with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Lennard Freeman (203-95, college: NC State) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Bursaspor have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record, which they share with OGM Orman and Karesi Spor. Newly promoted Final Spor dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. They share it with Petkim and Edirne. Bursaspor is looking forward to face Artvin (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Final Spor will play against Ankara D.S.I. and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
