Regular Season Round 9: Oberhaching - Bad Aibling 109-58

No shocking result in a game in Deisenhofen where second ranked Oberhaching (7-1) smashed 12th ranked Bad Aibling (2-6) 109-58 on Sunday. Oberhaching dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Bad Aibling's 26. They outrebounded Bad Aibling 39-21 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bad Aibling was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Miljan Grujic (206) who scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. American-Czech point guard John Boyer (185-88, college: Buffalo, agency: Dynamics Global Management) chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists. Boyer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Oberhaching players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian-Croatian forward Miodrag Mirceta (198) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Marco Hack-Vazquez (191-96) added 11 points respectively. Bad Aibling's coach Tobias Guggenhuber gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Oberhaching keeps a position of South-East leader, which they share with Leitershofen. Newly promoted Bad Aibling keeps the twelfth place with six games lost. Oberhaching will face Jena II (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bad Aibling will play against TSV Troester and hope to win that game.
