The game in Lviv supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Kyiv Basket (6-1) played at the court of 6th ranked SBK Lviv (2-4). Kyiv Basket smashed SBK Lviv 79-57 on Sunday. Kyiv Basket forced 19 SBK Lviv turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Ievgeniia Spitkovska (174-88) who helped to win the game recording 7 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals and Yana Rabchuk (186-0) who added 18 points during the contest. Kyiv Basket's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international swingman Krystyna Matsko (182-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and center Mariia Kovtun (198-92, college: Texas Woman's) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Defending champion maintains second position with 6-1 record having 2 victories less than leader Dynamo-NPU. SBK Lviv lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with four games lost. Kyiv Basket's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kyiv to the arena Dynamo-NPU.
