Regular Season Round 11: Kremen - Zolotoi Vek 94-106

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Zolotoi Vek's (2-6) road victory over 9th ranked Kremen (1-9) in Kremenchuk 106-94 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Zolotoi Vek. Kremen was better in second period 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zolotoi Vek shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Olexandr Drobiazko (200-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Bogdan Sosoi (181-92) contributed with 17 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five Zolotoi Vek players scored in double figures. Center Aleksandr Ryhljuk (208-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds and swingman Daniil Masiuk (190-81) added 23 points in the effort for Kremen. Zolotoi Vek moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Kremen lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. Zolotoi Vek will face SumDU (#8) in Sumy in the next round. Kremen will play on the road against Mariupol and hope to win that game.
