Regular Season Round 7: Zemun - Rtanj B. 74-58

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Rtanj B. (3-4) lost on the road to twelfth ranked Zemun (3-4) 74-58 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Zemun. Rtanj B. was better in second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Rtanj B.'s 30. Quite impressive performance for guard Mateja Todoric (184-98) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Nemanja Draskovic (204-91) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Zemun players scored in double figures. Zemun's coach Nenad Stefanovic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Nenad Grujo (204-90) answered with 17 points and guard Ugljesa Mitrovic (190-97) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Rtanj B.Zemun moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Rtanj B. Zemun will face higher ranked Sloga (#5) in Kraljevo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
