Regular Season Round 11: Prometey - Kharkivski Sokoly 80-66

An interesting game for Prometey (9-1) which hosted in Kamianske 4th placed Kharkivski Sokoly (5-3). First ranked Prometey managed to get a 14-point victory 80-66. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 51-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Prometey looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Andriy Kulish (204-92) who led the winners and scored 19 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 blocks. The former international center Sergiy Zagreba (214-94) accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Roman Olkhovskyi (196-90) came up with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Yaroslav Udodenko (187-87) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Kharkivski Sokoly in the defeat. Four Prometey and five Kharkivski Sokoly players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Prometey. Newly promoted Prometey maintains first place with 9-1 record, which they share with Ternopil-TNEU. Kharkivski Sokoly at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Mariupol and Hoverla. Prometey will meet at home Dnipro-2 (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kharkivski Sokoly will play against Niko-Basket in Mykolaiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
