We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Ulm where seventh ranked OrangeAcademy (4-4) won against 6th ranked Wuerzburg (4-4) 59-41 on Sunday. OrangeAcademy held Wuerzburg to an opponent 21.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Wuerzburg 49-35 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Christoph Philipps (203-98) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and center Nicolas Bretzel (212-99) who added 10 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. American forward Dexter Sienko (198-96, college: Regis Univ.) responded with 8 points and 9 rebounds and Badu Buck (196-99) scored 3 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. OrangeAcademy moved-up to sixth place in South, which they share with defeated Wuerzburg. OrangeAcademy will face league's second-placed Elchingen on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
