Very important is a road loss of third ranked Naestved (6-3) against fourth ranked Horsens IC (6-2) on Thursday night. Visiting Naestved was defeated by Horsens IC in a tough game in Horsens 75-80. Naestved was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 40-33 second half run of Horsens IC. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Naestved's 24. American point guard Charles Callison (183-95, college: Washington St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. International Frederik Rungby (199-93) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American point guard PJ Thompson (178-96, college: Purdue) replied with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international swingman Alexander Bak (193-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in the effort for Naestved. Four Horsens IC and five Naestved players scored in double figures. Horsens IC have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Naestved at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Horsens IC will play against league's leader Bakken in Risskov in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Naestved will play on the road against the league's second-placed Svendborg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
