Regular Season Round 10: Langen - Kronberg 59-62

There was a minor upset when higher ranked TV Langen (3-6) was edged at home by fourteenth ranked Kronberg (3-6) 62-59 on Saturday. Kronberg forced 28 TV Langen turnovers. Quite impressive performance for Felix Hecker (192-98) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Darian Ceh contributed with 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American forward Christopher Edward (201, college: Concordia, OR) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Lukas Beuschlein (189-95) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for TV Langen. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Kronberg moved-up to eighth place in South-West, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated TV Langen. TV Langen lost fourth consecutive game. Kronberg will face higher ranked Stuttgart (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
