No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Grevenbroich (6-3) crushed at home 10th ranked Dortmund (3-6) 82-59 on Saturday. They outrebounded Dortmund 43-19 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Grevenbroich looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Dortmund's players. Quite impressive performance for Bulgarian guard Milen Zahariev (190-92) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Farid Sadek (188-83) contributed with 8 points and 12 assists for the winners. American guard Aaron Bowser (190-84, college: Ariz.Christian) replied with 11 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Felix Fuhrmann (175-90) added 14 points in the effort for Dortmund. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Grevenbroich have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in West, which they share with Dorsten and Hagen BG. Newly promoted Dortmund keeps the tenth position with six games lost. Grevenbroich will face Dorsten (#5) on the road in the next round. Dortmund will play against Ibbenbueren (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
