The game in Utena was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Prienu Skycop (4-7) played at the court of eighth ranked Juventus (5-6). Juventus defeated Prienu Skycop 78-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Juventus. Prienu Skycop managed to win third quarter 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Prienu Skycop 40-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Arvydas Siksnius (196-87, college: Weatherford JC) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Guard Dovis Bickauskis (191-93, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Juventus players scored in double figures. The former international center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) responded with 23 points and the former international guard Martynas Gecevicius (193-88) scored 10 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Juventus moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Dzukija. Loser Prienu Skycop keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with P.Zvaigzdes. Juventus will meet Dzukija (#6) in the next round. Prienu Skycop will play against Siauliai and hope to secure a win.
