An interesting game for ALBA Berlin (6-1) which hosted in Berlin one of their biggest challengers Brose Baskets (5-2). Third ranked ALBA Berlin managed to get a 4-point victory 92-88. ALBA Berlin made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Brose Baskets turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Brose Baskets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. ALBA Berlin moved-up to second place. Brose Baskets at the other side keep the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with EWE Baskets. ALBA Berlin are looking forward to face s Oliver Baskets (#16) in Wuerzburg in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Brose Baskets will play at home against Science City Jena (#11) and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
