The game in Salzburg supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Mustangs (3-4) played at the court of sixth ranked BBU (4-3). BBU smashed Mustangs 85-61. The game without a history. BBU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mustangs' 26. They outrebounded Mustangs 50-36 including a 40-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Slovenian forward Luka Milovac (192-94) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Spanish forward Guillermo Sanchez (200-91) accounted for 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. BBU's coach Aaron Mitchell felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Stefan Obermann (185-93) came up with 18 points and point guard Paul Isbetcherian (178-0) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Mustangs in the defeat. Five BBU and four Mustangs players scored in double figures. BBU moved-up to fifth place. Mustangs at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. BBU's next round opponent will be higher ranked Raiders (#3) in Villach and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mustangs will play at home against KOS and hope to win that game.
