The game in Vienna was also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Dukes (4-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Hallmann (3-5). Dukes defeated Hallmann 93-81. It looked good early as Hallmann took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Dukes took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 12 points. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Hallmann's 30. They outrebounded Hallmann 36-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Dukes players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian Predrag Miletic (193-84) who scored 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). Bosnian power forward Edin Bavcic (209-84, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Four Dukes players scored in double figures. Dukes' coach Werner Sallomon allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international Jason Detrick (195-80, college: Oklahoma) produced 31 points (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!) and point guard Mustafa Hassan-Zadeh (165-96) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Dukes moved-up to third place, which they share with Kapfenberg. Hallmann at the other side keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Dukes' next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Furstenfeld Panthers (#10) at home and are hoping to win another game. Hallmann's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Vienna Timberwolves.
