BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (8-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventeenth ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (1-7) in Weissenfels 81-66. Mitteldeutscher BC was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Derrick Williams (203-91, college: Arizona) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds and international power forward Danilo Barthel (208-91) who added 13 points during the contest. Bayern Muenchen's coach Dejan Radonjic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Trevor Releford (183-91, college: Alabama) responded with 23 points and 7 assists and his fellow American import forward James Farr (208-92, college: Xavier) scored 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Bayern Muenchen have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-0 record. Mitteldeutscher BC at the other side dropped to the bottom place with seven games lost. They share the position with Crailsheim. Bayern Muenchen will play against Giessen 46ers (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mitteldeutscher BC will play against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#8) to get more than just one victory in their record.
