Leader Prometey delivered the eleventh win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Dnipro-2 (2-8) 103-64 in Kamianske. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 14-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 103-64. Prometey dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Dnipro-2's 32 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Prometey had a 35-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Dnipro-2's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Prometey made 7 blocks. Dnipro-2's coach Bogdan Frikke gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Prometey (11-1) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Newly promoted Prometey maintains first place. Dnipro-2 lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Ch.Mavpy 2. Prometey are looking forward to face league's second-placed KDPU in Kryvyi Rih in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dnipro-2 will play at home against Niko-Basket (#4) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
