There was a surprise result in Istanbul where ninth ranked Bahcehir (2-6) defeated higher ranked Besiktas (3-4) 81-69 on Sunday. Bahcehir forced 19 Besiktas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Bartu Yilmaz (-1) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Arda Tunca (188-0) who added 23 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Bahcehir's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Cagdas Kayabasi (-0) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and guard Can Turgut (198-0) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Bahcehir maintains ninth position with 2-6 record. Loser Besiktas keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Bahcehir will face higher ranked Adatip Sakarya (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Besiktas will play against the league's leader Pinar Karsiyaka and will have a slim chance for a victory.
