Regular Season Round 10: Nuernberg - Trier 61-81

The game in Nuernberg supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Gladiators (7-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Nuernberg (4-2). Gladiators did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 81-61 on Sunday. Jamaican-Canadian forward Jermaine Bucknor (201-83, college: Richmond) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Till Gloger (204-93, college: Maine) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Gladiators players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Jackson Kent (201-93, college: JMU) responded with 13 points and center Robert Oehle (209-88) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gladiators maintains third position with 7-3 record having just one point less than leader Chemnitz. Loser Nuernberg dropped to the ninth place with two games lost. Gladiators will meet at home Uni Baskets (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nuernberg will play against Lions in Karlsruhe and hope to secure a win.
