Regular Season Round 9: Wolfpack/BMS - Stevnsgade 95-83

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked BMS Skovlunde as it allowed them to take a leadership position. BMS Skovlunde defeated 4th placed Stevnsgade at home 95-83. Stevnsgade was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. BMS Skovlunde had a 33-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for American center Deionte Simmons (205-96, college: Chicago St.) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard Austin Waddoups (188-93, college: Salt Lake CC, agency: Dynamics Global Management) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four BMS Skovlunde players scored in double figures. Stefan Jevric (202-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and FYR Macedonian guard Boris Vukicevic (190-98) added 19 points and 6 assists in the effort for Stevnsgade. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Stevnsgade at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Stevnsgade will play next round against strong Vaerlose trying to get back on the winning streak. BMS Skovlunde will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked EBAA in Aarhus.
