Regular Season Round 9: Mladost SP - Konstantin 84-69

Rather expected game in Smed. Palanka where 5th ranked Konstantin (5-4) was defeated by third ranked Mladost SP (7-2) 84-69. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Konstantin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Nikola Djonlic (181-93) nailed 19 points and 6 assists for the winning side and Zeljko Stanisavljevic (-86) accounted for 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Mladost SP players scored in double figures. Forward Vuk Djordjevic (203-99) came up with 18 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and forward Dusan Filipovic (188-92) added 15 points respectively for Konstantin in the defeat. Mladost SP moved-up to second place, which they share with Zdravlje. Konstantin at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Mladost SP's next round opponent will be Proleter Naftagas (#10) in Zrenjanin and are hoping to win another game. Konstantin will play on the road against Pirot (#9) and hope to win that game.
