Regular Season Round 11: Art.Dragons - Rostock 78-90

ProA round 11 most important game was a victory of Rostock over 8th ranked Artland Dragons 90-78 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Artland Dragons. Rostock looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. Guard Tony Hicks (186-94, college: Louisville) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points. Guard Terrell Harris (191-93, college: Georgia Coll., agency: Players Group) contributed with 10 points and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Demetris Morant (206-92, college: FGCU) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and guard Chase Griffin (190-83, college: Pepperdine) added 17 points in the effort for Artland Dragons. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rostock (6-5) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kirchheim and Ehingen. Artland Dragons at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Uni Baskets and Walter Tigers. Rostock is looking forward to face Lions (#15) in Karlsruhe in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Artland Dragons will play on the road against Walter Tigers (#10) in Tuebingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
