Rather predictable result when eighth ranked BBC Bayreuth (5-3) defeated on the road 10th ranked BG Goettingen (4-5) 89-80 on Saturday. BBC Bayreuth had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Kassius Robertson (191-94, college: Missouri) who scored 17 points. American Adonis Thomas (201-93, college: Memphis) chipped in 17 points. BBC Bayreuth's coach Raoul Korner used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was international guard Dominic Lockhart (198-94) who recorded 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and American guard Pendarvis Williams (198-91, college: Norfolk St.) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively.
