No shocking result in a game when second ranked Fenerbahce (7-1) defeated on the road 6th ranked Tarsus (3-5) 95-84 on Saturday. They outrebounded Tarsus 51-18 including a 22-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Fenerbahce looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Ismail Karabilen (206-1) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds. Forward Efe Tirpanci (200-0) chipped in 24 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Fenerbahce players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Faik Kasikci (-0) who recorded 31 points and 8 assists and Selahattin Yalcin (-1) added 17 points respectively. Fenerbahce maintains second place with 7-1 record behind leader Pinar Karsiyaka, which they share with Darussafaka. Loser Tarsus keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Fenerbahce will face Turk Telekom (#4) in the next round.
