Regular Season Round 11: Kronberg - Stuttgart 78-62

There was an upset when higher ranked Stuttgart (5-5) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Kronberg (4-6) 78-62 on Saturday. Kronberg had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Felix Hecker (192-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Thorben Schicktanz (-97) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. Kronberg's coach Milo Crnjac used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Forward Jonas Leidel (195-87) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Greek power forward Alexander Komitakis (203-87) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for Kronberg. They moved-up to seventh place in South-West, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Stuttgart keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Kronberg will face higher ranked Saarlouis/Dillingen (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
