Regular Season Round 10: Bayer Giants - Schwenningen 95-75

An interesting game for Bayer Giants (10-0) which hosted in Leverkusen their biggest opponent BV Villingen-Schwenningen (7-3). Top-ranked Bayer Giants had an easy win 95-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BV Villingen-Schwenningen. Bayer Giants looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by BV Villingen-Schwenningen's players. It was a very good performance for American forward Nick Hornsby (201-95, college: Sacramento St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Bill Borekambi (198-92, college: Sequoias CC) replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Rasheed Moore (196-95, college: E.Stroudsburg) added 22 points in the effort for BV Villingen-Schwenningen. Bayer Giants have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 10-0 record. Newly promoted BV Villingen-Schwenningen keeps the second place with three games lost. Bayer Giants will face Elchingen (#5) on the road in the next round. BV Villingen-Schwenningen will play against OrangeAcademy and hope to win that game.
