Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Duzce Belediye (6-2) beat at home 14th ranked Ankara D.S.I. (2-6) 82-74 on Friday. The best player for the winners was guard Eray Aydogan (185-0) who scored 20 points and 5 assists. American forward Steve Taylor-Jr (206-93, college: Toledo) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Duzce Belediye players scored in double figures. American center David Weaver (207-87, college: Wake Forest) produced 18 points and swingman Kaan Sariaslan (193-97) added 9 points and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Duzce Belediye moved-up to third place, which they share with Bursaspor. Ankara D.S.I. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Duzce Belediye will meet league's leader Karesi Spor on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ankara D.S.I.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ankara OGM Orman.
