Regular Season Round 8: Artvin - Karesi Spor 86-111

TBL top team - Karesi Spor (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Artvin (3-5) 111-86. Karesi Spor dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Artvin's 48. Karesi Spor had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Artvin's players. The best player for the winners was American point guard Carlos Medlock (183-87, college: E.Michigan) who scored 27 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. The other American import forward Thomas Gipson (201-93, college: Kansas St., agency: HMS) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
