Neptunas-Akv. made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game, while Perlas only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded Perlas 40-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. Center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and point guard Deividas Anuzis (182-92) supported him with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 20 points by guard Karolis Giedraitis (194-98) did not help to save the game for Perlas. Forward Simas Jarumbauskas (197-0, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points. Five Neptunas-Akv. and four Perlas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Neptunas-Akv. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Perlas. Perlas lost third consecutive game. Neptunas-Akv. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Perlas will play against Ereliai Mazeikiai (#12) and hope to secure a win.
