Rather predictable result when thirteenth ranked Ezerunas (5-11) won against bottom-ranked KTU (3-13) in Moletai 70-66. 24 personal fouls committed by KTU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was swingman Kostas Jonuska (195-92) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Arnas Berucka (196-97, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Matas Ragauskas (189-96) who recorded 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Karolis Sapiega (196-99) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively. KTU's coach Arturas Sukovas tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Ezerunas have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory Ezerunas went down to fourteenth position due to points difference. KTU lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Ezerunas' next round opponent will be higher ranked Zalgiris II (#10) in Kaunas and it may be quite challenging game. KTU will play at home against Silute (#9) and hope to win that game.
