Regular Season Round 11: Rist Wedel - Bernau 90-80

Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked SSV Lok Bernau (5-6) was defeated on the road by second ranked SC Rist Wedel (8-3) 90-80 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for SC Rist Wedel especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for guard Lars Kamp (187-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. American forward Ryan Logan (201-94, college: Stonehill) helped adding 15 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Five SC Rist Wedel players scored in double figures. American power forward Quadir Welton (203-95, college: St.Peter's) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Franz Wagner (202-1) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. SSV Lok Bernau's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. SC Rist Wedel used an opportunity after Iserlohn lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position in North. Loser SSV Lok Bernau dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. SC Rist Wedel will face Titans (#8) in Dresden in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SSV Lok Bernau will play at home against Sixers and hope to win that game.
