Very expected game in Essen where 12th ranked ETB Wohnbau (2-9) was defeated by seventh ranked Muenster (6-5) 82-76 on Saturday. Muenster made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. American-British center Malcolm Delpeche (204-95, college: Bates) helped adding 19 points and 7 rebounds. Delpeche is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Muenster's coach Phillip Kappenstein allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. British forward Joseph Hart (194-93) responded with 13 points and 4 assists and American forward Andre Calvin (201-85, college: Drake) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four ETB Wohnbau players scored in double figures. Muenster have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place in North, which they share with Bochum and Schwelm. ETB Wohnbau lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost. Muenster will face SG Schwelmer Baskets (#6) at home in the next round.
