2.Bundesliga top team - Blackbirds (7-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Deutsch-Wagram (0-9) in Jennersdorf 92-40. The game without a history. Blackbirds led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Deutsch-Wagram to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Blackbirds made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game, while Deutsch-Wagram only scored four points from the stripe. Blackbirds forced 30 Deutsch-Wagram turnovers and outrebounded them 33-13 including a 11-0 advantage in offensive rebounds. Blackbirds players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Deutsch-Wagram's players. Forward Christoph Astl (187-88) nailed 16 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winning side and point guard Stefan Ulreich (183-85) accounted for 10 points and 5 assists. Lukas Reichle (190-0) came up with 17 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) and guard Lukas Hofer (180-92) added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for Deutsch-Wagram in the defeat.
